Veteran's Contact Point (VCP) Refurbishment

22nd October 2019

On 9 October 2019, the Veteran’s Contact Point (VCP) in Nuneaton was officially reopened following an extensive make-over. The building, based on Bentley Road in Warwickshire, has undergone a full refurbishment complete with extension, providing the additions of a new reception, kitchen, interview pods and training room.

Before

The VCP provides invaluable support to veterans to enable them to reintegrate into civilian life. Delivered by main contractor Balfour Beatty, Warwickshire County Council and various supply chain partners, the refurbishment has been a community project that will ensure veterans are provided with the essential services they require.

We were delighted to work alongside facing bricks manufacturer Ibstock to donate 5000 bricks to the project, contributing to the successful build and delivery of the contact point. The project has given the veterans more space, an electric connection, more efficient heating and a more modern and durable building.
