Overview

As a Senior Sales Executive with Taylor Maxwell Timber, you will manage key supplier, client and stakeholder relationships to supply exceptional timber products to our customer base, whilst generating new business leads throughout your defined region.

This position is full time, permanent (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday).

Role and Responsibilities

  • Maintain and develop existing customer base
  • Identify opportunities for new relationships from prospect to trading account
  • Work effectively with the sales support coordinators
  • Work closely with suppliers to achieve the best price and lead times for customers
  • Share knowledge with colleagues and sales executives to promote a development culture
  • Provide cover for the regional manager
  • Represent the Company at relevant trade events

Essential

  • Proven sales experience
  • Ability to build and maintain positive internal and external relationships
  • Proactive and strategic thinking
  • Valid UK driving license
  • Proficient with Microsoft package
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Organised and good time management skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative

Desirable

  • Experience in timber or construction products sales.
  • Experience in Softwood Timber Sales is highly desirable
