WET CAST

Our wet cast materials are manufactured using high grade aggregates and cement to achieve a minimum 40N/MM2 with a high early strength.

The cured component is then normally acid etched using controlled methods to remove the laitance and expose the natural aggregate colours in the mix.

Our standard Bath and Portland colours contain no pigmentation and are the natural colours of the aggregates.

Through pigmentation of the mix we can closely match most existing stone colours.

Finishes can vary from exmould or light acid etched to deep retardation which exposes large elements of aggregate and can if the surface allows be ground or polished.

Wet Cast products are single casting per day from each mould, and can be produced in large units with complex reinforcement within to form structural units.
