Taylor Maxwell Group being the largest independent brick distributor, took the radical step in 2002 to acquire its own specialist companies to compliment its extensive brick business.

This resulted in the acquisition of Vobster Cast Stone Company specialising in reconstituted stone specials and Michael Douglas & Co specialising in brickwork prefabrication and specials. This enabled the provision of a fuller service to our customers by enabling supply of the full façade package.

Both companies provide detailing services to a high standard working with our customers to engineer cost effectiveness from the manufacturing processes whilst still maintaining the customer’s aesthetic requirements.

Both companies employ modern methods of manufacture and utilise latest technology to achieve this, whilst also been acutely aware of their environmental responsibilities and ensuring the highest levels of Health and safety for its staff.
