SEMI-DRY
The Semi Dry production process is one method of manufacturing cast stone masonry elements. Using timber, steel or fibreglass moulds, the semi dry material is subjected to high compaction, resulting in a dense, durable monolithic product once cured.
Taylor Maxwell offer an extensive range of Semi Dry Stone products, from stock items of Heads and Cills through to Bespoke Masonry Units. Unusual sizes, intricate or irregular shapes, and precise matches for colours, our service is able to provide design solutions.
All products are manufactured to BS1217:1997 and conform to the United Kingdom Cast Stone Association’s technical specification.
All Semi Dry Stone is provided as a decorative product and is not designed to be loadbearing. In loadbearing situations Wet Cast Products should be used.
